  • 5+ years of proven experience in a relevant technology domain (software development, hardware integration, drones, autonomy)
  • Understanding of U.S. Government infrastructure and security requirements
  • Strong understanding of technical concepts related to managing drone applications, autonomy, and complex software stacks
  • Experience with DevOps tools and automation platforms like Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies
  • Significant software development experience with Python, JavaScript, or similar

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy drone-focused technology solutions as proofs-of-concept in our lab and onsite with customers
  • Test, troubleshoot, and enhance customer software applications with and on behalf of customers
  • Develop and present innovative, scalable, and cost-effective software solutions to meet customer needs
  • Continually assess product quality, release readiness, and maintain existing Maxar software and hardware solutions
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation to enable scaling of forward-deployed engineering tasks
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and government regulations that impact drones, autonomy, and GPS-denied operations
