Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field (Advanced degrees preferred but not required)
5+ years of proven experience in a relevant technology domain (software development, hardware integration, drones, autonomy)
Understanding of U.S. Government infrastructure and security requirements
Strong understanding of technical concepts related to managing drone applications, autonomy, and complex software stacks
Experience with DevOps tools and automation platforms like Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies
Significant software development experience with Python, JavaScript, or similar

Responsibilities

Develop and deploy drone-focused technology solutions as proofs-of-concept in our lab and onsite with customers
Test, troubleshoot, and enhance customer software applications with and on behalf of customers
Develop and present innovative, scalable, and cost-effective software solutions to meet customer needs
Continually assess product quality, release readiness, and maintain existing Maxar software and hardware solutions
Create and maintain detailed technical documentation to enable scaling of forward-deployed engineering tasks
Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and government regulations that impact drones, autonomy, and GPS-denied operations
