Requirements

Candidates should have experience with PHP 7+, Symfony or similar MVC frameworks, JavaScript/TypeScript, and MySQL. Experience with Git, Jira, Confluence, and managing Agile/Scrum teams is required. The ability to perform high-level and detailed design analysis, create documentation, and challenge estimates and code reviews is essential. Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical subjects are necessary. Beneficial skills include experience with React, Vue.js, Angular.js, Redis, MongoDB, DynamoDB, cloud platforms (AWS), serverless architectures, Docker, Python, and OWASP.

Responsibilities

The Tech Lead/Engineering Manager will be responsible for delivering leadership and solutions within a team of developers, ensuring the smooth delivery of business goals. This role involves participating in the development and maintenance of a complex SaaS product with multiple integrations, using SOLID principles and automated testing. Key responsibilities include instilling best practices, guiding team decisions aligned with strategic objectives, serving as an escalation point for developers, leading discovery work for new technologies or features, planning resources and workloads, and mentoring other developers by leading by example. The manager will also take on more complex development tasks and engage in out-of-the-box thinking.
