Requirements

Active Top Secret clearance (SCI Eligible)
10+ years of software engineering or DevSecOps experience
Proficiency in multiple languages: Java, JavaScript, Python, Bash, C/C++, C#, YAML, JSON, XML, or similar
IAT Level II baseline and Security+ (or equivalent) certification
Hands-on experience with Linux systems, CLI tools, networking, and cloud platforms
Proven experience with Crossplane to deploy and manage multi-cloud infrastructure
Experience with Terraform, Vault/Secrets Manager, PaaS technologies, and CI/CD pipelines
AWS Certification (to be completed within 30 days of start)
Location: Remote (within ~120 miles of Charlottesville, VA)

Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable, multi-classification cloud architectures
Define and execute Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) strategies using Crossplane, Terraform, and other automation tools
Build and maintain DevSecOps pipelines for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment
Optimize core networking, load balancing, DNS, and platform services for mission-critical cloud applications
Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline RMF and cyber authorization processes
Mentor and guide engineers, sharing SME-level expertise in cloud engineering, Crossplane, automation, and secure software development
