Requirements

  • Active Top Secret clearance (SCI Eligible)
  • 10+ years of software engineering or DevSecOps experience
  • Proficiency in multiple languages: Java, JavaScript, Python, Bash, C/C++, C#, YAML, JSON, XML, or similar
  • IAT Level II baseline and Security+ (or equivalent) certification
  • Hands-on experience with Linux systems, CLI tools, networking, and cloud platforms
  • Proven experience with Crossplane to deploy and manage multi-cloud infrastructure
  • Experience with Terraform, Vault/Secrets Manager, PaaS technologies, and CI/CD pipelines
  • AWS Certification (to be completed within 30 days of start)
  • Location: Remote (within ~120 miles of Charlottesville, VA)

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable, multi-classification cloud architectures
  • Define and execute Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) strategies using Crossplane, Terraform, and other automation tools
  • Build and maintain DevSecOps pipelines for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment
  • Optimize core networking, load balancing, DNS, and platform services for mission-critical cloud applications
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline RMF and cyber authorization processes
  • Mentor and guide engineers, sharing SME-level expertise in cloud engineering, Crossplane, automation, and secure software development
