A background in infrastructure as code is essential, along with experience using tools like Terraform and working with cloud platforms such as Azure. Experience with building and maintaining data pipelines for security-related use cases is required, along with a generalist engineering mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively with security and engineering teams. A proactive and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving is also necessary.
The Software Engineer, Security Observability will design and develop scalable software systems that facilitate security observability across the infrastructure. They will build and maintain data pipelines that centralize and store security-relevant data from diverse sources, proactively improve the resilience and reliability of data systems to ensure high platform availability, and collaborate closely with Detection & Response and other security teams to reduce the company’s security risk. Additionally, they will contribute to data engineering in support of forensic investigations and compliance efforts.
