Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience working in an agile, multidisciplinary team, preferably designing and building medium to large-scale Salesforce applications. Experience with AWS and SQL databases is a plus, as is an understanding of user interface design best practices. Demonstrated ability to integrate Salesforce into an enterprise-level cloud application is required, along with tenacity to dive into problems, iterate in working code, and a strategic mindset for trade-offs. Legal authorization to work in the United States is also necessary.
The Software Engineer will improve engineering quality through documentation, technical guidance, mentoring, and applying best practices. They will lead significant migration efforts, collaborate with government stakeholders to gain buy-in on technical initiatives, and work with the product team and other contractors to build new systems and improve existing ones. Specific duties include designing, reviewing, and building software, architecting, implementing, and deploying new systems, creating tools for automation, writing and reviewing technical documentation, performing code reviews, and participating in an on-call rotation. The role also involves assisting in developing the overall vision for Salesforce updating and integration, implementing the merge of two distinct Salesforce organizations, integrating with external data sources, consolidating and improving data models, and analyzing existing Apex code and Flows to determine what should be kept, rewritten, or moved.
