Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and a minimum of two years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering roles. They must have strong programming skills in at least one of the following languages: C, C++, Java, Python, or Go, and hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS services such as EKS, EMR, EC2, RDS, and S3. A deep understanding of Kubernetes (EKS) and containerization is also required.

Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer in Reliability & Availability, the individual will be responsible for ensuring service reliability and availability by designing and implementing fault-tolerant architectures using AWS, EKS, and EMR. They will build, automate, and optimize infrastructure for high-performance, scalable, and resilient cloud services, develop monitoring and observability solutions, improve service lifecycle management, enhance auto-scaling mechanisms, and drive automation through Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD pipelines. Furthermore, they will participate in on-call rotations, manage incidents, conduct blameless postmortems, and drive long-term reliability improvements.
