Requirements

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Proven experience as a reliability engineer or a similar role in a fast-paced, rapidly scaling company is required, along with strong proficiency in cloud infrastructure and programming/scripting languages. Experience with containerization technologies, Kubernetes, IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation, observability tools, and microservices architecture is essential. Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills are also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Software Engineer, Reliability will design and implement solutions to ensure the scalability of infrastructure to meet rapidly increasing demands. They will collaborate with development teams to enhance system reliability, implement and manage monitoring systems, and develop service level objectives and indicators to measure system reliability. The role includes implementing fault-tolerant designs, building automation tools, partnering with cross-functional teams to introduce new features, and participating in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 system availability.
