Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of software development experience, particularly in backend systems or platform services
  • Proficiency in backend-focused languages such as Python, Go, Ruby, or similar
  • Experience with large-scale high-traffic applications, distributed systems, and scalable data storage solutions
  • Experience with enterprise software features like permissions (RBAC), analytics, audit logs, notifications, self-serve onboarding, and provisioning
  • Experience with authentication frameworks (SSO, SCIM, OAuth), compliance, and security best practices
  • Experience with API development and enterprise integrations (SaaS, on-prem)

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to implement core abstractions and services that increase product velocity: notifications, data fetching patterns, data access abstractions, etc
  • Improve reliability, scalability, and compliance for platform services like permissions management, admin reporting, and customizations
  • Develop and enhance platform features including authentication, compliance, and enterprise integrations across the legal tech ecosystem
  • Partner closely with product teams to seamlessly integrate new features into core platform
  • Uphold high standards for security, compliance, and maintainability throughout development cycles
  • Lead technical design discussions, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior engineers
