Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a similar field, with at least 2 years of relevant work experience. Responsibilities

The Software Engineer will maintain and augment the automation and services responsible for operating Planet's satellites. This includes specifying and implementing new HTTP APIs, evaluating and selecting software technologies, and designing and deploying critical infrastructure. The engineer will also collaborate with various teams, including Satellite and Ground Operations, Pipeline, and Product teams, to ensure the satellite constellation meets mission objectives and to iterate on systems based on end-user feedback.
