Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, with a minimum of 2 years of industry experience in software engineering or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns
  • Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and microservice architecture, including experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with cloud application development including scalable, data-driven, and message-oriented architecture
  • Hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL Databases (e.g., Cosmos)
  • Expertise in version control tools and agile development methodologies
  • Ability to debug complex issues, analyze logs in production environments, quickly understand and build upon existing codebase
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable software applications using various programming languages, frameworks, and technologies
  • Collaborate with a small team of engineers on software development and design, identifying both short-term and long-term solutions
  • Evaluate proposed solutions, implement new architectural patterns, and conduct design and code reviews for modifications
  • Engage with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather and understand software requirements and translate them into technical specifications and designs
  • Leverage automated testing tools and CI/CD pipelines to streamline software development and deployment processes
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards
  • Work with the team to continuously improve software development methodologies and practices
  • Monitor application performance and provide ongoing support and maintenance, including bug fixes, feature enhancements, and system upgrades
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices while continuously learning and adopting new tools, libraries, and frameworks to enhance software development processes
