The role requires 2+ years of hands-on industry software development experience, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, Information Systems, or similar field or relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree.
Required skills include demonstrated experience in node.js, python or similar languages, along with experience in HTML, CSS, SASS, Javascript, HTML5 including Flexbox and semantic markup, and CSS2 with cross-browser compliance.
Some experience with cloud architecture, infrastructure as code, CI/CD and related tools, as well as the AWS platform including Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, and S3 is required.
You will work day-to-day with a team of engineers, the team’s Product Manager, and Principal Engineers, reporting to the team’s Engineering Leadership within Nike’s Global Technology organization.
A strong candidate is highly collaborative with peers, productive in a fast-paced development environment, has depth of native cloud software engineering experience, strong understanding of architectural design patterns and computer-science fundamentals, and experience with modern testing methodologies like Mocha, Jasmine, and Jest.
