Experience in developing code scaffolding tools and designing custom IDE plugins to enhance developer productivity is also necessary. A strong understanding of secure software development practices, including authentication, authorization, and vulnerability scanning in CI/CD and developer tooling, is required.
The Software Engineer II will enhance developer productivity by utilizing AI and machine learning to streamline workflows and improve code quality. They will optimize CI/CD pipelines, design and implement multi-tenant test environments, and develop project scaffolding tools. The role involves designing and building IDE plugins, maintaining an internal developer platform, and building a comprehensive engineering metrics system. The engineer will implement security best practices across various environments, collaborate with engineering teams and product managers, and research and integrate emerging technologies to enhance productivity.
