  • 4+ years in RPGLE software development with RDI

  • Free RPGLE with embedded SQL CL (CLP, CLLE) programming
  • SQL – Advanced, including stored procedures and procedural SQL for IBMi DB2

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and further develop existing ETL processes, ensuring high performance
  • Handle data-IN, pass data to subsequent processes, and create tools to simplify data handling for business and operations departments
  • Design, build, and scale data solutions on the Entertainment Platform using batch and event-driven pipelines
  • Scale existing data processes, focusing on quality every step of the way
  • Provide guidance on technology, library, and tooling choices to the team
  • Avoid scope-creep, over-engineering, under-testing, and technical debt
  • Learn business domains
  • Use good software engineering principles and best practices to solve business problems
  • Collaborate intra-team and cross-team with Product Managers, Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Software Engineers, and Site Reliability Engineers
  • Mentor Data Engineers
  • Manage mid-sized projects
