Software Engineer

We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the creation of complex software capabilities for computer-based systems. This role offers the opportunity to work with modern tools and technologies in a dynamic and collaborative environment. The work environment is hybrid, with a mix of remote and in-person work.

Requirements

• Security Clearance: Current U.S. Government Security Clearance (Secret or TS/SCI preferred). A current clearance is not required on day one, but will be processed.
• Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship required.
• Experience:
  • At least 5 years of experience in Software Engineering.
  • 3 years relevant experience with a Master’s degree in a related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong working knowledge and experience developing Java-based software capabilities.
  • Modern Java Frameworks and Libraries (e.g., Spring, Guava).
• Certifications: DoD 8140 / 8570 compliance certification (e.g., Security+).
• Other: Inquisitive nature, responsiveness, excellent testing skills, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work under pressure with multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and implementing complex software capabilities for computer-based systems.
• Working closely with other talented engineers to create software solutions that meet client needs.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of software development.
• Participating in a fast-paced, small business environment.
• Troubleshooting and resolving software issues.
• Adhering to DoD 8140/8570 compliance standards.
• Traveling CONUS up to 25% of the time.
