Candidates should possess 4+ years of development experience in a similar role, with experience in enterprise-level projects and developing scalable web applications. A strong command of GoLang and Object Oriented Design Patterns is required, along with experience in PHP, JavaScript/Typescript, and Bash. In-depth experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL, including optimization methods, is necessary. Familiarity with AWS services, cloud-native development, serverless architecture, Git, Docker, and automated testing (TDD) is essential. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment with CI/CD processes and understanding of web-related security issues (OWASP) are also required. Fluency in English, both verbal and written, is necessary, as is the ability to diagnose and fix complex issues efficiently.
The Software Engineer will design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and resilient platform services and APIs to enhance platform health and performance. They will collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver platform capabilities, ensuring high standards of code quality, performance, and security through clean code and rigorous code reviews. Participation in Agile ceremonies and contributing to CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments in AWS environments are key. The role involves driving architectural improvements, refactoring initiatives, and reducing technical debt. Additionally, the engineer will provide expert operational support for critical platform services, resolving production issues to ensure high availability and performance.
