Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
3+ years of experience in software development, preferably in full-stack development
Strong programming skills in languages such as Golang, GraphQL, SQL, React, JavaScript/Typescript, Node, and Java
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, AWS technologies like Lambda and Fargate
Knowledge of software development best practices, design patterns, and tools
Experience with front-end development, especially with React and GraphQL
Strong understanding of database management systems, including SQL
Experience with testing frameworks, including Jest and Cypress
Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, including AWS
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot production issues
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience in code reviews and contributing to a collaborative learning culture
Experience with version control systems, such as Git
Knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices
Experience with containerization, such as Docker
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain SmithRx product features using various languages and frameworks
Collaborate with stakeholders and technical leads to understand functional and technical requirements
Provide scope and risk estimates for system and feature builds
Create technical design documentation for new features and system builds
Implement software development best practices, design patterns, and tools
Leverage client and server-based frameworks, such as GraphQL, React, and GORM
Use AWS technologies, such as Lambda and Fargate, to handle various types of jobs and batch processing
Troubleshoot production issues, assess impact, and create plans for short-term and long-term mitigation
Contribute to a collaborative learning culture through code reviews and exploring new technologies
Actively seek out opportunities for innovation and learning
Participate in code reviews and ensure high-quality code is maintained
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, and apply knowledge to improve development processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and design
Participate in testing and debugging processes to ensure high-quality code
Maintain accurate documentation and tracking of code changes and issues
