Requirements

Candidates must possess a minimum of seven years of experience in financial services, with at least three years of experience supporting listed and OTC instruments typical in a Global Macro strategy (Fixed Income, Credit, Rates, Equities, Futures). A minimum of seven years of object-oriented development experience (Java is highly preferred) is required, along with expertise in design and architecture, particularly stateful reactive microservices. Experience with relational databases and messaging systems (Kafka preferred) is also necessary.

Responsibilities

Software Engineers at Schonfeld will design and develop master data applications, collaborate with business users to analyze data problems and develop solutions, enhance the firm's modern tech stack including microservices deployed to AWS using K8s, contribute to firmwide frameworks by building reusable components and ensuring code maintainability, and participate in Agile processes to meet dynamic business requirements and provide Level 3 support globally. They will also engage in strategic technical initiatives, drive architectural decisions, and mentor junior developers.
