Experience building resilient systems with Kubernetes, Docker, and S3 at scale
Proficiency in Python
Experience with batch processing and modern data formats, specifically Apache Arrow
Experience with building data pipelines
Experience debugging stateful, async data workflows
Strong backend skills
Experience with Temporal.io
Experience with Iceberg and/or Delta (welcome)
Experience building tools versus using off-the-shelf tools

Responsibilities

Build and iterate on the data import system
Build and maintain the source library
Revamp the schema management strategy
Build resilient systems (logging, observability, testing)
Schedule jobs using Temporal.io
Debug stateful data workflows by digging into k8s pod metrics
Push the boundaries of what the Data Stack team can do
Ensure the Data Stack remains stable and production-ready
