Responsibilities

Work with a team of engineers and cross-functional partners (product, design, data science, user research) to define a product strategy and drive execution
Build and maintain foundational pieces of Notion’s building blocks, enabling a wide array of use cases (docs, wikis, issue tracking, project management, etc.)
Contribute to the overall performance, reliability, and robustness of the Notion product
Contribute to the foundational pieces of Notion's building blocks
Support internal platform contributions to accelerate other engineering teams
Develop end-user facing functionality to enable toolmaking ubiquity
Help define team norms, operating principles, and team culture
Identify and execute against technical investments to ensure the long-term quality, reliability, and performance of databases
Partner with engineering leaders to identify and execute against high-leverage technical investments and guide the full-stack direction
