Requirements

  • 2+ years of engineering experience, including several years building world-class product experiences alongside a team of engineers

Responsibilities

  • Work with a team of engineers and cross-functional partners (product, design, data science, user research) to define a product strategy and drive execution
  • Build and maintain foundational pieces of Notion’s building blocks, enabling a wide array of use cases (docs, wikis, issue tracking, project management, etc.)
  • Contribute to the overall performance, reliability, and robustness of the Notion product
  • Contribute to the foundational pieces of Notion's building blocks
  • Support internal platform contributions to accelerate other engineering teams
  • Develop end-user facing functionality to enable toolmaking ubiquity
  • Help define team norms, operating principles, and team culture
  • Identify and execute against technical investments to ensure the long-term quality, reliability, and performance of databases
  • Partner with engineering leaders to identify and execute against high-leverage technical investments and guide the full-stack direction
