Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience developing web APIs using .NET (C#). Experience with ORMs like Entity Framework, constructing and optimizing RDMS queries, and working within the asynchronous programming model is required. Proficiency in leveraging AI-powered development tools is also expected.
The Backend Software Engineer will design, build, and deploy server application code that interfaces with third-party clients and Tilt. Responsibilities include performing security testing and code reviews, monitoring application performance, and implementing corrective actions. The role involves minimizing defects through automated and manual testing, developing and maintaining the build and deployment pipeline, and collaborating cross-functionally to define and ship new features. Contributing to API definitions and architecting solutions that integrate with third parties and the mobile client are also key duties. Keeping abreast of .NET development trends and evaluating new technologies is expected.
