Requirements

Candidates must be US Citizens and possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a similar technical/engineering degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience, or a minimum of 6 years of direct software development experience in .NET C# without a degree. Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, API development (RESTful and/or gRPC), Entity Framework (EF Core), SQL database design, and AI-supported coding tools is required. Experience with automated testing frameworks, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent documentation and communication skills are also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Backend Engineer will design, develop, and maintain core backend services and APIs using C# and .NET Core, build and evolve data access layers with Entity Framework, and ensure the scalability, performance, and security of backend systems. Responsibilities include writing and maintaining unit and integration tests, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver solutions, owning backend features end-to-end, leveraging AI-assisted development tools, participating in code reviews and technical discussions, and troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing backend applications.
