Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain robust Order Processing services and infrastructure critical for processing orders for Zalando customers
  • Drive continuous improvement by proactively challenging proposals, sharing expertise, and providing constructive feedback to colleagues
  • Lead projects end-to-end, from initial concept through implementation, collaborating with principal engineers and product managers
  • Create clear technical narratives and contribute to Technical Solution Design documents
  • Get involved in important projects that shape how Zalando manages its customers' orders
  • Connect with stakeholders to understand the business side and help create tailored, scalable solutions
  • Oversee the whole product development process, from discovery to execution, adjusting focus as needed, and work closely with teammates on complex challenges
  • Take architectural decisions, contribute to prioritization of topics, spearhead documentation and learnings from incidents
  • Ensure system-reliability engineering and technical compliance
