Requirements

Candidates must have 2+ years of backend software development experience with a focus on AI, including experience building products with LLMs. Proficiency in Python and expertise in building efficient, large-scale software systems are required. Skills in writing high-quality, maintainable code and designing large-scale distributed systems with high concurrency, load, and availability are essential. Excellent communication and mentoring abilities are also necessary, along with a relevant degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field. Nice-to-have qualifications include proficiency in Kotlin, Typescript, or Javascript, and familiarity with MLOps practices and deployment pipelines.

Responsibilities

The Software Engineer, AI will own the end-to-end development of AI-driven solutions to redefine support and automation for internal teams and external customers. They will shape the underlying architecture and APIs for advanced systems, build cutting-edge AI solutions to enable Airwallex to scale, and directly influence innovation and set best practices. Responsibilities include building AI solutions to enable growth and drive internal efficiency, designing and implementing robust API and system architecture for new AI applications, and collaborating closely with a cross-functional team to bring AI solutions to life in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
