A deep understanding of fundamental OS concepts, experience navigating large codebases, and knowledge of scripting technologies and modern DevOps practices are also required.
The Software Engineer will design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for enhancements and new products, including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases, and internet-related tools. Responsibilities include collaborating with product managers and architects to define software requirements, conducting object-oriented analysis and design, debugging complex system-level issues, and participating in hardware and system-level design discussions.
