Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in backend development, with a strong grasp of software engineering best practices
- Proficiency in Java
- Experience with Jenkins for CI/CD, and Kubernetes and Helm for deployment on AWS
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Architectural experience—made design decisions, defined technical direction, and guided teams through system evolution
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, RESTful APIs, databases, message queues, multi-tenancy
- Experience building and evolving microservices-based architectures, ideally deployed in Kubernetes or similar container orchestration platforms
- A collaborative, communicative approach—comfortable influencing across teams, mentoring engineers, and driving alignment
- A proactive, ownership-driven attitude—seek out opportunities, solve problems before they escalate, and take initiative to improve systems and processes
Responsibilities
- Design and write new connectivity components, APIs, and integrations
- Work in a scrum team with other developers and a team leader
- Participate in team planning, design, and reflection meetings, continuously improving the team’s capacity, estimation abilities, and product reliability
