About the Role

As an engineer at Numeric, you will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of product initiatives and will contribute to shaping product strategy and direction. We seek bright, fast builders with strong technical fundamentals and a dedication to helping users and solving critical problems.

What You Might Work On:

• Developing our Financial Data Platform:
  • A synchronization and transformation system that powers our unified data model for reporting and analytics.
  • The reporting experience, enabling end-users to flexibly define structured financial projections, save them as reports, and integrate them into workflows. Reports will be traceable and composable, allowing drill-downs to transaction-level details.
• Expanding and Scaling the Automation Layer:
  • Our generalizable subledger offering, which automates the full cycle accounting treatment from source documentation to synchronization with external systems. This includes parsing documentation, extracting necessary information, projecting changes, and handling new events.
  • Transaction monitoring to detect, flag, and resolve anomalies and bad data, thereby preventing downstream errors.
• Building a New Transactional Foundation:
  • A platform to connect and automate the graph of a company's assets and activities, enabling greater automation and insight into organizational operations.

Requirements

• Computer Science or other technical degree.
