Requirements

Three to seven years of experience in cloud-based Java microservices development
Three to seven years of experience in financial services
Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
Experience with building and consuming from REST and/or GraphQL APIs
Experience with messaging systems (Kafka preferred)
Experience leading strategic technical initiatives from start to finish
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong ownership experience and a track record of delivering results

Responsibilities

Design, develop, deploy and support existing applications as well as new features and platforms
Run projects and lead initiatives
Participate in an Agile framework, continuously improving and expanding platform capabilities based on evolving business requirements
Provide Level 3 support across the globe
Maintain and enhance the integration between shadow accounting system (Advent Geneva), end of day pricing services, and data warehouse
Contribute to a highly supportable, future-ready, performant code base
Build microservices that deploy to the cloud (AWS) using containers orchestrated by Kubernetes and extend REST and GraphQL-based APIs
Collaborate closely with stakeholders and other engineers to solve technical and business challenges
