Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Computer Information Systems, and a minimum of two years of experience in a job related to software engineering or an engineering-related occupation. Applicants should have experience with Java 8 or higher, AWS services including EC2, S3, Elasticsearch, SQS, SNS, and CloudWatch, SQL and NoSQL databases, microservices architecture, Spring and Spring Boot, version control systems like GitHub or Bitbucket, CICD tools such as Jenkins, RESTful APIs, Agile and issue tracking tools like Jira or VersionOne, monitoring and observability tools like Splunk, SignalFx, New Relic, or Grafana, cloud provisioning tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform, and automated testing tools such as Junit, Mockito, or Gatling.
The Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing distributed order management system solutions for omni-channel commerce on the Nike cloud platform, identifying design patterns and data structures for maintainability and performance, formulating solution options, developing cloud-based web services in a continuous delivery model, implementing features using Java or other languages and AWS infrastructure, creating platform utility tools, actively participating in code reviews, implementing performance load testing, and applying supply chain domain knowledge.
