Requirements

Candidates should possess 5+ years of experience in software test automation, with a proven ability to build and maintain scalable test frameworks for backend APIs and user-facing applications. Proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript is required, along with hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Google Cloud Build or Spinnaker. A deep understanding of modern testing strategies, strong debugging and root cause analysis skills, and familiarity with TestOps and DevOps practices are essential. Experience with test frameworks such as pytest, Cypress, Playwright, or Go-based tools is also required.

Responsibilities

The Software Development Engineer in Test will build and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for APIs and user interfaces in a 0→1 product environment, developing comprehensive automation strategies to validate AI-driven media activation. They will own end-to-end validation for key features, driving test strategy, implementation, execution, and deployment readiness. Responsibilities also include collaborating with backend, frontend, and data science teams, investigating failures, performing root cause analysis, and promoting engineering excellence through code reviews and mentoring.
