Requirements

  • 4+ years in software development with a consistent record of ownership and delivery
  • 3+ years programming in Python and Python web development framework (FastAPI, Flask, or Django)
  • 3+ years with PostgreSQL DB, and a strong understanding of performance optimization and scaling strategies
  • Experienced in building and operating SaaS products in cloud environments (AWS preferred)
  • Experienced in the technologies and tradeoffs involved in building modern distributed systems
  • Advanced knowledge of modern software development practices (devops, automated testing, observability, etc)
  • Proficient in the use of Elasticsearch
  • Love a fast-paced environment, want to ship customer value early and often, and make an impact with groundbreaking ideas
  • Problem solver who enjoys tackling challenging problems, coming up with creative solutions, and guiding/teaching teammates

  • Partner closely with engineering, data science, product management, and design teams to build on the vision, strategy and roadmap
