Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of recent experience in JavaScript technologies (React, Node, Typescript, Angular, ES6)
  • Solid experience building production-grade web applications and familiarity with micro frontend architectures and the tradeoffs they involve
  • Experience working on features with moderate to high complexity and ownership
  • Ability to design for testability and scalability
  • Comfortable debugging issues across components, services, and deployments
  • A collaborative mindset, strong communication skills, and a habit of sharing knowledge
  • A growth mindset with the ability to quickly learn new concepts and technologies
  • Ability to work independently on assignments with minimal oversight

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable, maintainable front and back-end code
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define, build, and deliver intuitive and performant web experiences
  • Write clean, testable, well-documented code, and participate in code reviews
  • Help guide technical direction on new features, refactors, and platform improvements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across components and services
  • Share technical knowledge and mentor junior engineers
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and identify opportunities to adopt new tools or techniques where appropriate
