Software Development Engineer

The Software Development Engineer will be responsible for crafting, developing, and coding solutions to meet customer expectations and specifications, working collaboratively with other developers and leads within the organization. They will contribute to designs and technology solutions, facilitating accurate decision-making and mitigating development and implementation risks. The role involves conceptualizing and influencing application and interface projects, providing guidance and recommendations to steer toward desirable outcomes, and understanding emerging ideas in application development. Additionally, the engineer will utilize build tools such as Webpack and Vite for optimizing application performance, leverage GraphQL for efficient data fetching, and experience with unit testing frameworks and tools like Karma, Jasmine, or Jest. They will also be involved in monorepo architecture using tools like Nx, web accessibility standards (WCAG), TypeScript, CI/CD pipeline integration, container technologies, Agile development practices with project & task management tools such as JIRA, and architecting solutions to complex problems.
