Requirements

BS degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
8+ years proven software engineering experience
5+ years of experience working with Microsoft solution stack as developer including .Net, C#, MSSQL, PowerShell, Windows operating system, Windows server
Proven experience with object-oriented programming
Proven experience with .NET/.NET Core platform: C#, ASP.NET/Core, MVC
Experience with MS SQL database design and development
Experience using WCF, REST, XML, JSON
Experience with Azure/AWS cloud
Experience with AKS, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm
Experience with agile methodologies, lean, build processes, and CI
Team player who has strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Effectively communicate with other engineers and program managers
Discipline and craftsmanship in your work
Possess a positive attitude and be personable
Be innovative, proactive self-starter and always want to learn more

Responsibilities

Design, develop, debug, and deliver successful software solutions that support WatchGuard’s products
Develop resilient applications and services that can withstand multiple failures
Build solutions quickly while maintaining a high level of quality and reliability
Build maintainable software products individually as well as collaboratively
Collaborate with other engineers in system design, architectural and code reviews
Investigate, analyze and make recommendations regarding technology improvements, upgrades and modifications
Partner with cross functional teams in IT Ops, Engineering, Product, Sales, Technical Support, and QA
Help define responsibilities for the rest of your team and review the work of junior developers
