Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in computer science or computer engineering, or equivalent work experience, with a minimum of three years of professional experience. Fluency in Python is required, along with proficiency in Git and experience with CI/CD pipelines. Bonus qualifications include proficiency in Rust, Typescript/Javascript (especially Svelte), experience in growing small software organizations, and experience with optimization, statistics, and design of experiments.

Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer at Oklo, you will transform and optimize the storage of reactor data and physics results, design and configure CI/CD pipelines for multiphysics analyses, build tools for reactor engineers to visualize and evaluate reactor designs, integrate simulation tools into analysis pipelines, implement physics kernels, develop reactor optimization schemes, identify and improve process inefficiencies, and contribute to software quality assurance programs.
