Candidates are required to possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or an equivalent foreign degree. They must have at least five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation, along with five years of experience in Java language, including JVM, class loading, performance tuning, multithreading, and IO. Furthermore, they need five years of experience with HTTP, Websocket, and servlet specifications, utilizing Java open source frameworks like Spring. A minimum of five years of experience is also required in high-concurrency programming, design patterns, NIO, Reactor, Netty, object-oriented design, design patterns, distributed web systems, application security, and microservices architecture including Spring Cloud. Finally, they must have five years of experience with secure development practices and familiarity with tools like docker and Blackduck.
The Software Development Engineer will develop Zoom Device Management (ZDM) using Java to offer remote functionality on devices through the Zoom web portal, managing Apple, Windows, and Android devices. They will also develop the Zoom Workspace project backend server, handle workspace reservation functions, integrate hardware with the platform via REST APIs, develop a workspace dashboard for administrators, analyze service performance data, address code security issues using Checkmark and Blackduck, oversee deployment processes, monitor service status and performance, implement hot fixes, review customer requirements, and collaborate with product management, support, and sales teams.
