Requirements

  • Computer Science degree and/or 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Strong understanding of developing, architecting and running SaaS type of products
  • Excellent understanding of OOP, Functional Programming, software life-cycle, source control tools
  • Proven ability to research and become proficient in new technologies
  • Passionate about computer science, developing software & internet applications
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Good English language knowledge, both written and spoken
  • Experience with cloud services platforms (AWS and/or Azure)
  • Experience with Java Virtual Machine related languages or GO (plus)
  • Knowledge in both building and operating a service: CI/CD deployments, monitoring and alerting (Grafana, Prometheus), Kubernetes-based deployments, infrastructure as code and provisioning tools (Terraform, Saltstack)
  • Experience with NoSql technologies (e.g. Cassandra, HBase, Kafka) (plus)
  • A sharp eye for security related issues and performance bottlenecks
  • Agile / Scrum project management methodologies

Responsibilities

  • Design & build the next-gen Productivity Engineering platform
  • Interact with a large range of teams and help them succeed in building groundbreaking products
  • Be part of an autonomous Scrum team to deliver detailed numbers about Adobe's services health and behavior trends
  • Build high-performance, secure software components that are part of the stack
  • Accountable for the design, implementation and uptime of software components
