Candidates should have a Computer Science degree and/or relevant experience, with at least 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer or SDET. Proficiency in coding across various languages, hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS, and familiarity with the Playwright framework are required. Experience designing test frameworks/suites, developing frontend and backend test automation, and working with data-intensive applications or data streams processing is essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also necessary.
The Software Development Engineer in Test will integrate with, improve, and build upon continuous testing systems, automation, and quality metrics reporting. They will work closely with development teams to ensure early test planning and execution, identify performance bottlenecks, spot anomalous system behavior, and determine root causes of issues. This role also involves communicating insights and plans to cross-functional teams and management, and may require stand-by, on-call, or off-hours duties.
