Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development and implementation
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification is a plus
  • Experience with ServiceNow modules: IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), IT Asset Management (ITAM), Service Portal
  • Experience with ServiceNow Flow Designer and Service Catalog
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience with ServiceNow integrations

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement complex ServiceNow solutions
  • Work with business stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet those needs
  • Maintain and enhance existing ServiceNow applications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve ServiceNow issues
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest ServiceNow features and functionality
  • Mentor and train junior ServiceNow developers
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of ServiceNow best practices
  • Work with a team of business analysts to identify and document business processes that can be automated using ServiceNow
  • Work with a team of IT Operations engineers to integrate ServiceNow with other IT systems, such as monitoring and ticketing systems
  • Work with a user experience mindset to develop and deploy solutions for customers
  • Participate in agile planning ceremonies to help define and prioritize ServiceNow work for the upcoming sprint
  • Develop and test ServiceNow solutions in accordance with the Agile methodology
  • Deploy and support ServiceNow solutions in a production environment
  • Monitor ServiceNow performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
  • Share knowledge and best practices with other team members through code reviews, pair programming, and training sessions
