Requirements

  • Experience in software development, specifically building web applications at scale and Ruby on Rails
  • Ability to master new technologies quickly and work effectively in a dynamic, ever-evolving environment with distributed teams and customers
  • Demonstrated success in mentorship in software development, particularly using Agile processes and with large-scale SaaS products
  • Database optimization experience
  • Experience working with large-scale systems
  • Diverse base of knowledge to help solve complex technical problems
  • Portfolio of successful projects (and lessons from failed projects)
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build trusted relationships with team members and customers

  • Availability for full-time role in hub locations (Burnaby, Calgary, or Toronto) with minimum 2 days in office per week on Anchor Days

Responsibilities

  • Work with a team of developers to solve complex problems and provide elegant solutions for Clio customers
  • Work in an agile environment with full stack developers across a variety of projects
  • Use a wide variety of technologies, learn new things, and challenge yourself
  • Participate in diverse projects and collaborate with multiple engineering teams across three countries
  • Review and provide feedback on peers' code, both within your team and across Clio
