Software Developer - CCS-C C-SAR

Position Overview

Auria is seeking a Software Developer to support the development of the Command and Control System – Consolidated (CCS-C) Sustainment and Resiliency (C-SAR) for current and future satellites. The primary work location is in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Requirements

Security Clearance

  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Government TOP SECRET security clearance (requires U.S. Citizenship)

Education & Experience

  • Engineer Level 3:
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline and 7+ years of relevant experience, OR
    • Master's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Engineer Level 4:
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline and 12+ years of relevant experience, OR
    • Master's degree and 9+ years of relevant experience.

Technical Skills

  • Programming Languages: Experience with structured and Object Oriented Program Languages (e.g., C, C#, C++, Java, JavaScript)
  • IT Infrastructure: Familiarization with modern IT infrastructure capabilities including virtualization, cloud deployment, and containerization.
  • DOD Systems: Familiarization with DOD communication systems and subsystems (e.g., C2ISR platforms, SATCOM, data links).
  • Agile Experience: Experience working within an agile system development framework.

Soft Skills

  • Problem Solving: Ability to isolate and resolve complex problems, identify workarounds, and implement and document corrective actions.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage numerous demonstration events simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, implement, integrate, and document technical products within the CCS-C system.
  • Collaborate closely with system developers, testers, and on-site user support personnel to support system updates, analyze and resolve system issues, and ensure project objectives are met.
  • Provide technical advice and deliver customer presentations for architecture and potential solutions.
  • Attend and support highly technical engineering team meetings.
  • Support Data Products Development, including APIs, databases, Human Machine Interfaces (HMI), simulations, and Take Automated Operations (TAO).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current U.S. Government TOP SECRET security clearance (requires U.S. Citizenship)
  • Security+ certification
  • Experience with the Satellite Control Network (SCN) and Wideband SATCOM command and control (C2) systems, products, and interfaces.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum team using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Familiarity with other engineering disciplines (systems, hardware, test, configuration management, and quality engineering).
