Requirements

Active U.S. Government SECRET security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)
Level 4: Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline and 8 years of related experience, or a Master of Science degree in a STEM discipline and 6 years of related experience, or a STEM PhD and 4 years of related experience
Level 5: Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline and 12 years of related experience, or a Master of Science degree in a STEM discipline and 9 years of related experience, or a STEM PhD and 7 years of related experience
Experience with design and implementation of data warehousing technologies including relational and nonrelational databases, SQL, and data analytics
Experience supporting PostgreSQL database management systems running on Windows or Linux
Experience in full lifecycle project development
Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python for crafting efficient automation scripts and executing data-related tasks
Familiarity with developing application software in a Windows environment
Knowledge of client-server applications
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Responsibilities

Develop, document, test, and debug software
Apply appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle
Diagnose and address problems encountered during application integration
Design and develop complex software using various programming and scripting languages
Support PostgreSQL database management systems
Participate in customer interface, technical interchange meetings, on-site technical support, and event/exercise support (potential travel required - 10%)
