Requirements

5+ years of experience in technical IT Asset Management role within a large technology company
5+ years of experience managing software asset repository
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or another technical field, or 8+ years of experience in a technology management role
Hands-on experience using ServiceNow solutions
Excellent organizational, collaboration, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail
Demonstrated experience managing competing priorities and stakeholder expectations
Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong focus on delivering exceptional user experiences through technology
Familiarity with SOX compliance best practices

Responsibilities

Partner with the Procurement team on new software purchases and renewals
Ensure timely engagement from Business Technology product owners and architects throughout the process
Monitor and promote adoption of policies and procedures for asset acquisition, maintenance, and disposal
Maintain accurate, and up-to-date records of all software assets
Oversee data collection, cleaning, and migration processes to ensure accurate and complete asset information
Generate and deliver regular reports on IT asset inventory, compliance, utilization, and costs
Maintain accurate and complete documentation of SAM processes and procedures
Maintain open communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on asset management initiatives
Manage software asset intake, onboarding, certification, and decommissioning processes
Maintain accurate asset data throughout its lifecycle, with a focus on delivering real-time informative reliable reporting to executive management
