Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in technical IT Asset Management role within a large technology company
  • 5+ years of experience managing software asset repository
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or another technical field, or 8+ years of experience in a technology management role
  • Hands-on experience using ServiceNow solutions
  • Excellent organizational, collaboration, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated experience managing competing priorities and stakeholder expectations
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong focus on delivering exceptional user experiences through technology
  • Familiarity with SOX compliance best practices

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Procurement team on new software purchases and renewals
  • Ensure timely engagement from Business Technology product owners and architects throughout the process
  • Monitor and promote adoption of policies and procedures for asset acquisition, maintenance, and disposal
  • Maintain accurate, and up-to-date records of all software assets
  • Oversee data collection, cleaning, and migration processes to ensure accurate and complete asset information
  • Generate and deliver regular reports on IT asset inventory, compliance, utilization, and costs
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation of SAM processes and procedures
  • Maintain open communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on asset management initiatives
  • Manage software asset intake, onboarding, certification, and decommissioning processes
  • Maintain accurate asset data throughout its lifecycle, with a focus on delivering real-time informative reliable reporting to executive management
