Responsibilities

  • Execute the UK social media strategy for Instagram, X, Facebook, TikTok, and emerging platforms for Pot Noodle, working with the Senior Social Media Manager
  • Own the development of the day-to-day content calendar with strategic forward planning, prepping and scheduling content quarterly
  • Run weekly connects with brand managers to align content calendar with upcoming marketing activities and campaigns
  • Brief internal content creators, designers, external agencies, and influencers to create channel content; edit footage into Reels as needed
  • Undertake daily community management, responding to comments, DMs, and tagged content; monitor for UGC, gifting, and inspiration
  • Champion social partnerships and giveaways with like-minded brands, flag opportunities, and manage partner relationships
  • Feed into influencer plans, providing suggestions based on social expertise and community interactions
  • Keep reporting dashboards up to date monthly and provide ad-hoc snapshot reports with key metrics, insights, and recommendations
  • Work with Customer Care and Corporate Comms to identify social crises and highlight social considerations for responses
  • Keep brand managers updated with the latest social-listening data
