Social Media Content Creator (Freelancer)

Position Overview
OLIVER is a rapidly expanding creative services agency with a unique model: we provide our clients with bespoke dedicated agencies that operate from within their offices. We are building a team of digital-focused individuals who have the ability and confidence to learn on the job and help our client transform their digital marketing capabilities. We are looking for a Social Media Content Creator to work closely with the Creative Director and existing team to generate engaging and customer-focused social content. Specific experience of UGC within the automotive industry would be a huge bonus.

Responsibilities
Content Creation
- Develop creative content ideas for social media, prepare a content calendar, and produce compelling copy.
- Create visual imagery/graphics/videos using tools like Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
- Adhere to brand guidelines for tone, voice, and visual content.
- Write compelling and clear copy for posts, captions, blogs, and other social media content.
- Craft stories that resonate with the target audience and convey the brand’s narrative effectively.
Strategy Execution
- Support content strategists, apply SEO best practices, manage paid media strategies, and collaborate with media agencies.
- Optimize content for different platforms, ensuring the correct use of hashtags, keywords, and tags.
Community Management and Influencer Engagement
- Manage community interactions.
- Identify and collaborate with influencers and other brands for partnerships or sponsored content.
- Liaise with influencers and media agencies to boost content.
Analytics and Reporting
- Use analytics tools to track performance and generate reports, providing insights for future content optimization.
- Track metrics such as likes, shares, comments, and growth in followers.
Administrative Tasks
- Use social media management tools (like Hootsuite, Buffer) to schedule and distribute content across various platforms.
- Manage budget for content creation and promotion, ensuring efficient use of resources.
Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, design, and product teams to ensure content is on-brand and effective in its purpose.
- Discuss content strategy, performance, and revisions with clients if applicable.
Continuous Learning
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in social media and digital marketing to ensure content remains relevant and engaging.
- Passion for and inquisitive about AI and new technologies.
- Understanding and knowledge of AI tools is beneficial.
Legal and Ethical Compliance
- Ensure all content complies with copyright laws and obtain necessary permissions and releases.
Innovation and Experimentation
- Test new content formats and experiment with different types of media to keep the content fresh and engaging.
- Analyze and integrate feedback from followers, clients, and team members to continually improve content quality.
Requirements
