Requirements

3 months of work history with the same employer
Ability and willingness to perform basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
Ability and willingness to work overtime and/or weekends as needed
Ability and willingness to obtain a Class II power tow motor certification
Ability and willingness to read and comprehend all required daily paperwork, labels, and computer work
Ability and willingness to complete all paperwork and SAP functions and computer functions
Ability and willingness to push/pull/lift with arms below waist/at shoulder/above shoulder level 40 pounds or greater frequently
Ability and willingness to lift/lower/carry up to 40 pounds or greater with back and legs
Ability and willingness to use both hands for rapid mental muscular coordination, simultaneously
Ability and willingness to flex/grip with wrist/hands frequently
Ability and willingness to stand/walk/climb/bend for up to 10 hours
Ability and willingness to work in wet conditions and cold temperatures at 35 degrees

Responsibilities

Transport racks on smokehouse racks to the drencher and to the smokehouse staging area
Lift a maximum of 40 pounds eye level and above, push 500-pound racks
Scale, transport, measure, and record information as required by Quality Control or management
Setup and remove various machines and clean out metal detectors
Remove full racks, scale, and enter information into the computer
Help empty inedible pans
Perform general housekeeping duties in the department
Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF requirements
Perform all positions of job rotation as needed
Perform any other work as assigned by management
