Requirements

  • Previous experience as a server in full-service restaurant (particularly resort or fine dining) required
  • Supervisory or lead server experience preferred
  • Vermont DLC certification
  • Familiarity with POS systems and guest check procedures
  • Flexible work schedule that may include early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Food & Beverage certification (e.g., TIPS/ServSafe) preferred
  • Excellent guest service skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to lead effectively
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a strong knowledge of menu items and be able to make informed recommendations
  • Ensure members/guests receive professional, friendly, and prompt service, anticipate guest needs and proactively resolve issues
  • Supervise and train serving staff to enhance service efficiency
  • Lead the server team during the shift; assign sections or tables, monitor performance, assist with training and mentoring new servers
  • Act as point-person when the manager is off floor or during busy times
  • Field guest concerns, escalate appropriately, maintain service standards
  • Ensure the dining area and server stations are clean, stocked and organized; assist with opening and closing duties
  • Oversee accurate guest checks, billing and payment process
  • Collaborate with all F&B positions to ensure seamless, high-level service
  • Model professional behavior; appearance, communication, adherence to resort policies and Club service standards
  • Attend all shift and training meetings
  • Promote a fair and harmonious work environment
  • Additional duties as assigned
