Requirements

The position is for DoD SkillBridge participation and is not eligible for direct hire. Eligibility is restricted to members of the U.S. Armed Forces separating honorably with greater than 180 days of continuous Active Duty, and the SkillBridge/CSP must be completed prior to separation from Active Duty in the U.S. Armed Forces. Service members should be highly motivated and self-driven. All services, ranks, and experience levels are welcome.

Responsibilities

The Internal Investigations Analyst will support the Internal Risk Program by triaging and investigating detections, taking appropriate action such as live response, containment, or escalation. Responsibilities include participating in confidential insider risk investigations, creating and implementing insider risk related detections, and performing detailed investigations using data from various sources. The analyst will communicate with end users regarding potential policy violations, assist in data recovery efforts, provide investigation updates to leadership, handle sensitive information with discretion, assist in alert tuning, document and track investigations, and support the Incident Response lifecycle. Additionally, the role involves assisting in the development of detection criteria and identifying security controls coverage.
