Expertise in Cloud Platforms & Services: Azure and AWS (EKS, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, Azure VMs, Functions)
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, ARM/BICEP
Experience with Containerization & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes (EKS/AKS), Helm, ArgoCD
Knowledge of Monitoring & Observability: Datadog, Splunk, Coralogix, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, and baseline metrics
Skills in Scripting & Automation: Python, Bash, PowerShell, TypeScript, JavaScript
Programming Knowledge: Java, .NET/C#, SQL, React (for integration)
Systems & Networking expertise: Linux/UNIX/Windows administration, networking, and security best practices
Specialized Knowledge: Databricks, FinOps cost management, disaster recovery planning
Core Competencies: Incident management, troubleshooting, IT service management frameworks, GitOps/DevOps practices
Solid understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and practices

Responsibilities

Lead a small team of senior engineers responsible for reliability, scalability, and resilience of mission-critical systems
Drive operational excellence and foster a culture of continuous improvement
Collaborate with central SRE organization, IP product, development, architecture, and security teams
Implement best practices in site reliability engineering, cloud platform management, and environment support for internal development and customer systems
Lead initiatives around incident response, disaster recovery, automation, monitoring, FinOps cost optimisation, and customer support escalations
Manage and influence technical direction and business outcomes as a junior management-level position
