Requirements

Candidates must have 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree, or 8+ years of relevant work experience. Strong expertise in Kubernetes and Service Mesh (ideally Istio) is required, with proven experience supporting daily operations and business initiatives. A hands-on approach to managing cloud-native infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (preferably Terraform) and GitOps methodologies within an automated CI/CD pipeline is essential. Solid English communication skills are necessary for collaboration with international team members. Basic knowledge in script development and AWS services such as S3 Bucket, Dynamo's Table, IAM, and EC2 is desirable.

Responsibilities

The engineer will support the Kubernetes and Service Mesh (Istio) lifecycle within the platform squad by creating and/or enhancing mechanisms to bootstrap, observe (monitoring), maintain (including upgrades), and decommission these resources. All tasks will be executed using infrastructure-as-code and cloud-native best practices across several clusters.
