Requirements

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in architecting, designing, and developing software products, preferably in a SaaS model, and at least 4 years of experience managing teams of 6 or more individual contributors. Experience building scalable distributed systems in cloud environments, knowledge of REST, API design patterns, microservices, software extensibility through SDKs/plugins/apps, and container orchestration technologies are essential. A BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field is required, along with familiarity with technologies like Java, Golang, No-SQL databases, Apache Kafka, Redis, and authN/AuthZ.

Responsibilities

The Engineering Manager will attract, hire, and develop team members, drive product mission forward by partnering with stakeholders to develop strategy, technical and product roadmaps, and execute the roadmap. They will also champion high code quality, architectural designs, and scalable, resilient systems, while leading by example with a focus on customers and the product.
